Detailed Product Description
The PIR Motion Sensor is a reliable passive infrared (PIR) module designed to detect motion from humans or pets up to approximately 7 meters away. With an impressively low standby current of around 50 µA and a wide voltage range of 4.5V to 20V, this sensor is ideal for battery-powered devices, embedded systems, home automation, and security applications.
The module uses an HC-SR501 style pyroelectric infrared detector to sense changes in infrared radiation caused by movement. It features adjustable sensitivity and an adjustable delay time, allowing you to customize both the detection distance and the duration of the output signal. It also supports two trigger modes—single trigger and repeat trigger—giving you flexibility based on your project requirements.
With a 110° detection angle, stable performance, and compact footprint, the Faranux PIR Motion Sensor is suitable for DIY electronics, automation systems, lighting control, motion alarms, and a wide range of microcontroller-based projects.
