Description
The Klein Tools LAN Explorer VDV526-100 is a compact diagnostic tool designed to test and troubleshoot voice and data cables used in telephone and computer networking installations. It supports RJ45, RJ11, and RJ12 terminated cables, making it suitable for checking Ethernet cables, telephone cables, and network patch cords.
The tester supports Cat3, Cat5e, and Cat6/6A cabling and uses LED indicators to display test results, including pass, miswire, open-fault, short-fault, and shielding status. Its single-button operation simplifies cable testing, while the remote unit allows technicians to test cables across their installed length. The remote stores securely inside the tester body for convenient transport and storage.
